Situated on the remote Faafu Atoll, Filitheyo is a quiet, modern resort with an excellent range of facilities. Constructed in typical Maldivian style of thatch, stone and timber, the bars and restaurants of Filitheyo Island Resort are full of character, despite the fact that the resort only opened in 1999.
Accommodation at Filitheyo is in 125 rooms dotted around the island, behind the beach or in one of the 16 water bungalows. The Superior rooms are modern, comfortable semi detached units set back from the beach with an attractive rustic feel due to the thatched roofs and open air bathrooms. You might like to upgrade to a Deluxe Villa, for even greater luxury and privacy.
The main restaurant at Filitheyo serves three buffet meals a day, with an excellent variety, catering for International, Asian and European palates.
Filitheyo's Sunset Restaurant serves a la carte dinners adjacent to the pool. (Not included in All Inclusive package). The Filitheyo resort has an excellent dive school, offering a range of PADI and CMAS courses, as well as a good range of non-motorised watersports.
