Totally rebuilt in 2004 this amazing new resort is bound to set new standards in luxury accommodation in the Maldives. Set on its own tiny island in the North Male Atoll, Huvafen Fushi is surrounded by a superb, white sand, palm fringed, beach leading to aquamarine water covering the lagoon.

The exclusive accommodation is in 44 luxurious beach and water bungalows, most with superb ocean views and some having direct access to the beach or lagoon. Facilities include the world’s first underwater spa, as well as an underwater bar, known as ‘Blue’, where you can relax with a cocktail and gaze at the abundant tropical fish. . In addition there is a well stocked library including a good selection of DVD’s.

The two restaurants serve a range of delicious Asian and international meals with impeccable service. For that special occasion the hotel will be pleased to arrange private dining in your villa or even on a private sandbank, at an extra charge.

Huvafen Fushi has just launched its exhilarating water sports and activities centre 'FLOAT'  - explore the sea and sign up for Big Game Fishing for barracuda and Mahi Mahi tuna, try your hand at a catamaran kayaking along the reef, learn to wakeboard, parasail and waterski or have a go on the Sea Bob for an adrenaline popping ride! Alternatively of course you could submerge into the crystal clear waters and train for a PADI license or a two and a half day 'Discover Scuba Diving' course. FLOAT also offers guided snorkeling tours and children 8 years can submerge in the 'Bubble Maker' progamme and over 10's can try open water diving and scuba diving.
