Situated on an idyllic palm fringed island in Ari atoll, Mirihi is a quality resort with just 6 thatched beach villas and 36 attractive contemporary water villas - just perfect for a quiet, intimate holiday or honeymoon. With so few rooms and such an excellent reputation for good food and relaxation, you will however need to book very early (at least 12 months ahead for Christmas and Easter) to avoid disappointment. Indeed since there are only 6 beach villas, we are unable to supply these as they are always booked by repeat clients!
Mirihi has a reputation for being a total ‘no news, no shoes’ island and as such there has been a conscious decision not to supply televisions in the rooms. (But for those who cannot live without the cricket score, there is a communal TV in the public area). The water bungalows are extremely spacious and tastefully finished to a high standard. The resort has a superb reputation for it’s cuisine and the overwater a la carte restaurant offers a wonderful venue to sample the dishes on offer. The island has a good range of watersports and a highly regarded diving school.
One of our favourite islands! Highly recommended for honeymooners and couples celebrating a special occasion, but early booking is essential.
