Set in the South Male Atoll, just half and hour away from Male International Airport, Anantara Veli is a paradise isle, the perfect honeymoon and romantic escape, with endless white sand beaches, palm-fringed islands and pristine coral reefs.

The 36 Over Water Bungalows are just a few metres from the clear waters, these elegant detatched residences have private sundecks over the lagoon.   The 14 Deluxe Over-Water Bungalows with their terazzo tubs and rain showers embrace the essence of the Maldives in this secluded tropical getaway. Whilst tranquil during the day Anantara Veli comes to life at night with live entertainment and music.

The Resort's Ayurvedic spa retreat has five treatment suites situated over the lagoon. The treatments use natural ingredients for their healing properties to enrich, detoxify and rejuvenate.

When not relaxing on the beach or lounging by the infinity pool, spend your days on the water with sailing excursions, waterskiing, wind surfing on the lagoon, surfing, seaplane flights, deep sea fishing or sunset dhoni cruises for dolphin spotting. Anantara also has its own on-site comprehensive PADI Dive Centre enabling exploration of one of the best diving destinations in the world.

Just across the water lies Anantara Veli's sister resort of Anantara Dhigu where you can find a boutique and enjoy full access to the luxurious facilities and amenities. The two resorts offer an array of fine dining destinations serving fine Thai cuisine, grilled meats and vegetables, freshly caught seafood and wonderful buffet breakfasts with freshly baked bread and tropical fruits.
