104 kilometres south of Male in the Ari Atoll, just 25 minutes by sea plane Didhoofinolhu is one of the largest islands in the Maldives, 1.8 kilometres long and 500 metres across. It is a real haven of tranquility, with lush tropical vegetation running alongside white sandy beaches. The island is surrounded by a magnificent sheltered lagoon, rich in marine life, with the wonderful spectacle of rays and colourful tropical fish swimming around.

Diva combines the natural beauty of the Maldives and a tropical outdoor style of life, close to nature, with refined luxury and elegance in the heart of this beautiful setting. With 4 kms of sandy beach on a calm safe turquoise lagoon. It is one of the best dive sites in the Maldives with a 5 star PADI diving centre. It also has 2 swimming pools, 3 restaurants and 3 bars.

Diva Maldives is a haven of well-being and the Infinity Spa must have one of the most unique settings in the world, where the wooden floors and fittings lend natural beauty to an airy and spacious location. Experience treatments and massages that are truly out of this world, nestling amongst lush, green vegetation. The Infinity Spa features saunas, hammams, ice rooms, 2 heated pools, cold tub, outdoor showers, relaxation gardens and manicure and pedicure treatment rooms. The Simply Diva Boutique is within the Spa and offers a range of Diva products. The Spa has 11 beach treatment rooms each with a terrace, private gardens and shower and 4 double water treatment rooms with terraces over the water, outside shower and relaxation area. A special feature of the water treatment room is the glass floor through which guests can watch the fish swimming in the lagoon beneath them whilst enjoying their massage.

You're spoilt for choice when dining at Diva Maldives; Senses Oriental Restaurant takes it's inspiration from Lebanese, North African, Indian and Indian Ocean island cuisines. Guests staying in the Water Villas have exclusive use of the restaurant for breakfast, after which it's open to all guests serving salads, grills and seafood at lunchtime, with an a la carte dinner menu. Alternatively visit Noos - a spectacular shell-shaped restaurant featuring international cuisine. There's also a choice of 3 bars; The Lounge Bar at the Senses for cocktails, beers, rums and spirits. The Iru Bar by the beach with a "shoe-less " concept for an unforgettable aperitif, or the Veli pool bar overlooking the crystal clear lagoon for a relaxed atmosphere serving Mediterranean-style snacks; Spanish tapas, mezze and antipasti throughout the day. Guests staying at Diva on half board or full board basis have the flexibility to dine around and can eat in all of the restaurants.

The 5 star deluxe accommodation comprises a Presidential Water Villa with infinity plunge pool and 24 hour butler service, Water Villas, Beach Pool Villas, Beach Villas and Junior Suites. All villas have private, furnished terraces with direct lagoon access, telephone, LCD TV with DVD, mini bar, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning. Some villas have private swimming pools.

Children and teenagers are well looked after at the Diva Kids Club and Teens Club. The Nest Kids Club is available every day to look after children from 3 to 12 years from 10am until 10pm. With an excellent range of facilities including TV and cinema lounge, dining room and buffet, library and computer area, siesta lounge and enclosed outdoor play area. A whole range of activities is organised adapted to particular age groups. The Place Teens Club is open to teenagers from 13 to 19 years from 10am - 10pm with facilities including Wi-fi station, play station on loan, table football, pool table and table tennis. The club also arranges a whole host of activities and excursions out of the resort to make sure they too experience an unforgettable holiday.

The resort offers an extensive range of leisure facilities; the boathouse is the gateway to one of the most beautiful dive sites in the Maldives with the opportunity to explore the coral reef. Catamarran sailing, windsurfing, beach volley, tennis and use of the gym. There are also numerous excursions available - night time snorkelling, desert island picnics, lagoon fishing and cultural excusions. There are three boutiques on site Sifani Jewellery, Caprices offering beach wear, clothes and sundry items and Simply Diva within the Spa. 

Swimming with Whale Sharks - Diva is situated in the heart of FenMaaDhiguRan, the Maldives' first and largest Marine Protected Area with a significant population of whale sharks all year round. Take a traditional Dhoni or speedboat every Monday or Wednesday  and enjoy this unique opportunity to swim with these harmless friendly giants! A team of snorkel guides is on hand to lead you through the reefs to discover these wonderful creatures.
